Bryson DeChambeau - What's In The Bag
Cobra-Puma Golf signed Bryson DeChambeau, the 2015 NCAA Division One Champion and 2015 US Amateur Champion, when he turned professional in 2016. In fact, Cobra-Puma signed DeChambeau before he earned his PGA Tour card.
Following his first PGA Tour win at the 2017 John Deere Classic, and his impressive 2nd place finish to Rory McIlroy at the 2018 Arnold Palmer Invitational, it appears Cobra-Puma’s gamble in the PGA’s resident mad scientist (DeChambeau majored in physics while a student at Southern Methodist University) is beginning to pay off.
Those that follow the PGA Tour closely are familiar with DeChambeau’s eccentricities, and with his Payne Stewart-inspired attire and one-plane swing, DeChambeau catches the eye of even casual or first time viewers. However, DeChambeau’s primarily peculiarity, a bigger quirk than even the custom Puma-branded clothes he wears on course, may just be the Cobra clubs in his bag.
Let’s go ahead and run through what’s in Bryson DeChambeau’s golf bag:
Bryson plays the TPT Model 14 MKP LT Shaft at 45 inches long.
Bryson plays the HZRDUS Black 85X shaft at 43 inches in length. The KING LTD 3/4 wood has a tour inspired compact head design, low center of gravity with adjustable loft settings to deliver better workability and control.
Bryson plays the KING F8+ Baffler 5 Fairway wood with a True temper HZRDUS black 85x flex shaft at 41 inches in length.
Bryson plays the Cobra KING Forged ONE length irons 4-p with Nippon Modus 130x 37.5 inch length shafts.
Bryson plays the new KING versatile grind wedges in a 50 degree, a 55 degree & a 60 degree loft.
