John Kessel

Since 1985 John has been working for the National Governing Body of the sport, USA Volleyball (USAV), now as
Director of Sport Development. He currently serves as the staff liaison for Disabled Programs, USA Deaflympic
Teams, Starlings USA, National Parks and Recreation Assoc., the YMCA and over 30 other Affiliated Organizations
working with USAV. He is Secretary of the NORCECA Technical and Coaches Commission, and Director of Development
for World ParaVolley. He was Team Leader for the 2000 USA Olympic Beach Volleyball Teams in Sydney, which
brought home one gold medal, and for the 2004 USA Paralympic Women’s Sitting Volleyball Team in Athens,
which came home with the bronze medal. In 1995, Volleyball Magazine’s special Centennial issue named
him one of the 50 most important people in the sport in the past 100 years. In 2013 the American Volleyball
Coaches Association inducted him as their 60th member of the AVCA Coaches Hall of Fame.

Dr. Timothy D. Lee

Past professor in the department of kinesiology, McMaster University

Dr. Lee has published more than 80 papers on the topics o motor control and motor skill acquisition in peer-reviewed
journals. He is the author of Motor Control in Everyday Actions, and is co-author with Richard Schmidt of
Motor Control and Learning: A Behavioral Emphasis, which is now in its 5th edition. Tim has served as an
editor for the Journal of Motor Behavior and the Research Quarterly for Exercise and Sport, and as an editorial
board member for the Psychological Review and the Journal of Motor Learning and Development. His research
has been supported by numerous grants, including continuous funding (since 1984) by the Natural Sciences
and Engineering Research Council of Canada.

Stuart Morgan

The Mid Wales native has a wealth of coaching experience that began after playing professionally and becoming
a PGA member. Morgan joins GLT along with Stuart Morgan Golf where he offers comprehensive junior golf training
and consultations for Tour players. Focused on talent identification and player development, Morgan will
take help take GLT coach training programs to a new level of individualization. Using his philosophies &
knowledge, Morgan’s training will help GLT courses encompass a combination approaches for both physical
and psychological development. As an expert in Player Development, Morgan will take the GLT’s training
to the next level.

Dr. Greg Cartin

PhD Sports Psychologist

Dr. Greg Cartin is the founder of GC3 Performance Consulting based in Belmont, MA. Dr. Cartin has an extensive
background in both youth development through sport as well sport psychology consultation. After completing
his Masters in Counseling Psychology from Boston University, Dr. Cartin spent 5 years as a counselor to high
school athletes at Somerville High School in Somerville, MA. His doctoral dissertation involved an in-school
physical education intervention at Boston English High School. Upon completing his doctoral work, Dr. Cartin
founded GC3 Performance Consulting where he is able to continue to provide sport psychology consulting services
to athletes of all levels and ages as well as continue to provide support to local youth programs. While
specializing in mindfulness techniques to enhance performance, Dr. Cartin’s approach is client-centered,
always putting the needs of his clients first. He consults with individuals of all ages and abilities, and
clients range from PGA tour winners to high handicap amateurs.

Dr. Paul Wood

Paul is the VP Engineering at PING, coordinating a department responsible for club design, product development,
innovation, testing, machining and manufacturing engineering. He started with PING in 2005 after completing
a PhD studying Solar Flares in the Mathematics Department at St Andrews University. He spent his first few
years with PING in the innovation department working on the physics of ball flight, the club-ball impact
and many other aspects of golf science. Some of his projects at PING include the nFlight fitting software,
iPING, Turbulators and TR face technology.

Spencer Dennis

Spencer Dennis, coach, entrepreneur, and product designer, has become a popular speaker and thought leader in sports and learning technology since founding CoachNow (Formally known as Edufii) 5 years ago. His consistent mission of improving coaching/teaching relationships via mobile and integrated technology comes not only from his 20,000+ hours logged as a high performance coach but the thousands of coaches he now interacts with via the CoachNow platform. Spencer brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Game Like Training helping us optimize our ability to connect with golfers and coaches who engage in our Learning material.
